Chinese 5G will constitute almost half of domestic mobile connections by 2025 at over 800 million subscribers to be the biggest 5G market in the world.

 

Over $400 billion will be invested over the next decade and China is set to benefit from a decade of generational advantage from 5G’s technological evolution and increased further investment and innovative application through its “5G+industrial internet” plan in robotics and autonomous vehicles for example. 

 

China's “Internet Plus” plan will establish hundreds of thousands at a minimum of rural digital entrepreneurs, 900 million mobile subscribers, and 100MBps internet bandwidth for 98% of its population. 5G has already reached the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. 

 

China will deploy 5.5G commercial equipment in 2024 (at 10 times the speed of 5G) and is even testing 6G in space to have in commercial use by 2030 at 100 times the speed of 5G.
